How it works.....

ALL CONSIGNMENT ITEMS NEED TO BE:

Current Fashion
Washed or Dry-Cleaned
Pressed/Steamed, on Hangers or Folded Neatly
Free of any Stains, Odors, Rips or Tears
Ready to Sell

When you are deciding what to sell, KEEP IN MIND items are generally priced 25%-30% of retail. Therefore, you can expect approximately 5% - 15% in return.

COMMISSION and PRICING:

Starting prices are set by Mimi's, unless otherwise requested.
Consignors receive 50% (minus $1) of the sale price of items less than $300.
Consignors receive 70% (minus $1) of the sale price of items more than $300.

CONSIGNMENT PERIOD:

Most items are taken on consignment for a 90 Day period. Generally items will be reduced 25% after the first 30 days and 50% after 60 days. Mimi's reserves the right to reduce items earlier or later depending on the season, price, demand, etc. ITEMS REMAINING IN THE STORE AFTER THE 90 DAY CONSIGNMENT PERIOD BECOME THE PROPERTY OF MIMI'S CONSIGNMENT BOUTIQUE. IT IS THE CONSIGNORS RESPOSIBILITY TO KEEP TRACK OF THEIR PICK-UP DATE; NOTICE WILL NOT BE GIVEN.

HAUTE COUTURE:

Unless otherwise agreed upon, higher-end clothing, shoes, handbags, furs and jewelry will be priced by Mimi's and reduced periodically. The total consignment period for haute couture items is 180 days. ITEMS REMAINING IN THE STORE AFTER THE 180 DAY CONSIGNMENT PERIOD BECOME THE PROPERTY OF MIMI'S CONSIGNMENT. IT IS THE CONSIGNOR'S RESPONSIBILITY TO KEEP TRACK OF THEIR PICK-UP DATE; NOTICE WILL NOT BE GIVEN.

PAYMENTS:

On the 15th of each month, when your account balance is $40 or more a check will be mailed to you with a summary of your items sold and your payout for each item. If your account balance is less than $40 your proceeds may be picked up in the store Tuesday through Friday.

Mimi's reserves the right to mark down the merchandise at any time for promotional purposes.
Merchandise is left at the consignors own risk, Mimi's Consignment Boutique will not be held responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged merchandise.
