ALL CONSIGNMENT ITEMS NEED TO BE:

Current Fashion
Washed or Dry-Cleaned
Pressed/Steamed, on Hangers or Folded Neatly
Free of any Stains, Odors, Rips or Tears
Ready to Sell

When you are deciding what to sell, KEEP IN MIND items are generally priced 25%-30% of retail. Therefore, you can expect approximately 5% - 15% in return.

COMMISSION and PRICING:

Starting prices are set by Mimis Consignment Boutique unless otherwise requested.
Commission on items selling for less than $500 is 50% plus a $1 surcharge per item.
Commission on items selling for $500 or more is 30% of the sale price.

PAYMENTS:

On the 15th of each month, when your account balance is $25 or more at the end of the previous month, a check will be mailed to you with a summary of your items sold and your payout for each item. If your account balance is less than $25 your proceeds can be picked up in the store Tuesday through Friday.

CONSIGNMENT PERIOD:

Items are taken on consignment for a 90 Day period. Items are marked down 25% after the first 30 days and 50% after 60 days. ITEMS REMAINING IN THE STORE AFTER THE 90 DAY CONSIGNMENT PERIOD BECOME THE PROPERTY OF MIMIS CONSIGNMENT BOUTIQUE. IT IS THE CONSIGNORS RESPOSIBILITY TO KEEP TRACK OF THEIR PICK-UP DATE; NOTICE WILL NOT BE GIVEN.

HAUTE COUTURE:

High-end handbags, furs and jewelry are not subject to the automatic markdowns. These items are tagged with red or white tags and remain full price unless otherwise agreed upon. The consignment period for haute couture items is 180 days. ITEMS REMAINING IN THE STORE AFTER THE 180 DAY CONSIGNMENT PERIOD BECOME THE PROPERTY OF MIMIS CONSIGNMENT BOUTIQUE; NOTICE WILL NOT BE GIVEN.

Mimi's reserves the right to mark down the merchandise at any time for promotional purposes.
Merchandise is left at the consignors own risk, Mimi's Consignment Boutique will not be held responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged merchandise.
